In our first participation in the world cheese competition “World Cheese Awards”, our company FARMA A.P. POLYKARPOU KE YIOI LTD has won the silver medal in the Semi-hard sheep cheese category (5102: Semi-hard ewes milk cheese plain).

The competition was held in Birmingham, United Kingdom, in November 2012, where more than 2500 types of cheese from different countries participated. The cheeses were judged by 220 judges from 20 countries, among tasting professors, buyers, sellers and producers.

This success gives us an additional motivation to continue to deliver the traditional <> with the same zeal and passion. This result confirms once again the prospects and the future of halloumi worldwide, which we must keep as the apple of our eye especially in these difficult times.
